***Instant issue debit cards are available until 4:00 p.m. daily. Please be paitent when you are here as it may take 10-15 minutes to issue the debit card. Thank you.

KickStarter Checking Accounts

  • KickStarter Checking Accounts are designed for 14 to 18-year-olds who would like to have a checking account.

  • KickStarter Checking Accounts include all the same benefits as regular checking. Checks, Debit Cards, Home Banking, Mobile Banking.

  • To open a KickStarter Checking Account, they will need a job, and we recommend they set up direct deposit to their HGE Credit Union account. Also, we will require their parent to be signed on to their checking account until they turn 18.

  • KickStarter Checking Accounts will not be charged for the balance below the $100 service fee. Once they turn 18 years old, they will be moved to a regular checking account, and all fees will be in place.
