If you're just being introduced to credit unions, it's worth noting that we're a not-for-profit cooperative. After expenses are paid and reserves are set aside, our earnings are returned to you as higher dividends, lower loan rates and free or low-cost services. Credit unions are owned and operated by their members who pool their savings and lend to each other. Serving members is the reason credit unions exist. As a state credit union, we are chartered, supervised and insured by the Kansas Department of Credit Unions as well as the federal government through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The NCUA insures member share accounts up to $250,000 per member, and is the most secure and strongest of the federal savings insuring agencies.
Membership is open to all residents of Reno, Harvey, Rice, Kingman, Pratt, Stafford and McPherson counties.
The undeniable advantages—lower rates on loans, higher rates on savings, 24/7 account access, a dedicated management team and staff with your best interest at heart—are all around you.
